Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as a young child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting profession in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th that the show was coming back for a fourth season of the production. Season Four premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
