The most glamorous of careers often hide many a sad story beneath. A winner of the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after plenty of effort and immense amount of patience. Jones was the sole child of a five-child family who lived in a very poor environment. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and lived for a time in the church basement. The sporadic lifestyle made it necessary for Jones to switch to a new school every year, until she began high school. Jones was able to move away from her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to pursue her passion for track. Jones was a resident of four homes during her high school period to be able to complete her studies in one place. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra and the winner of Gatorade the track and field award for athlete of the Year won her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the conclusion of high school. Jones began her athletic career in college as one the best hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was a part of the winning team for the 100-meter relay. Jones won both the indoor hurdles and the outdoor hurdles during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones began her track career in 2005 after she graduated from university. The same year she also won in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track event and Heusden.
Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South Africa. She emigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was found by local casting agents, took the lead character of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight), she quickly became a hit. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo character who was portrayed by the hit Netflix program Lucifer. The series lasted more than six years. Forbes named Lucifer as the number one binge-watched show for 2021. Brandt's next appearance is in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024, opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature to be released by Netflix July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town in South Africa. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt, along with her whole family, moved to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt began her career as a Retailer, then got upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley began modeling, after which she began appearing in commercials. She graduated with a major in acting in 2008. In 2009, she started training in Meisner methods of study. Lesley's first major acting gig was on New Zealand's TV series Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting actor on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared in This Is Not My Life. It's based on the true tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and is later featured in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature series in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
