Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress who was born October 3rd, 1983 in Los Angeles. Thompson is the daughter and granddaughter of the famous singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as and actor Bobby Ramos. Thompson was born in Los Angeles and raised there until moving to Brooklyn. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian heritage. Thompson went to Santa Monica High School where she participated in many theatre productions. She was enrolled in Santa Monica College after graduation and obtained a cultural anthropology degree. As part of a show at Pasadena's Boston Court Theatre, she appeared as Juliet in William Shakespeare's "Romeo as well as Juliet".
